jpnn.com, JERMAN - The 2021 Hylo Open concluded on Sunday (7/11) night.

In the match that took place in Saarbrücken, Thailand became the grand champion after getting two titles from this super 500 tournament.

Thailand opened the title faucet at the 2021 Hylo Open through the women's singles player Busanan Ongbamrungphan, who beat Yeo Jia Min from Singapore with a score of 21-10, 21-14.

The White Elephant Country then won its second title through mixed doubles Dechapol Puavaranukroh and Sapsiree Taerattanachai after defeating Indonesian duo Praveen Jordan and Melati Daeva Oktavianti with a score of 22-20, 21-14.

The result also made Dechapol and Sapsiree extend the winning record over Praveen and Melati to six times from 10 matches.

Indonesia itself won one title from the men's doubles sector after Marcus Fernaldi Gideon and Kevin Sanjaya Sukamuljo won over fellow Indonesian representatives Leo Rolly Carnando and Daniel Marthin in two straight games, 21-14, 21-19.

This is the first title for The Minions after they last took the podium at the Indonesia Masters 2020.

From the women's doubles sector, Chisato Hoshi and Aoi Matsuda from Japan won the title after defeating their compatriots Rin Iwanaga and Kie Nakanishi with a score of 22-20, 21-18.

The 2021 Hylo Open concluded on Sunday night.
