Diva Krisdayanti Becomes House's Blood Donor Ambassador
jpnn.com, JAKARTA - The House of Representatives has appointed Indonesian diva Krisdayanti to be its Blood Donor Ambassador.
Krisdayanti, who is a member of the House Commission IX, said the first thing she would do was to give herself a commitment to donating blood.
The Atta Halilintar's mother-in-law hoped she could inspire many people to donate blood regularly.
"Not only House members and their close relatives, all of us should be able to become heroes of humanity," said Krisdayanti in Senayan, Jakarta, Wednesday (24/11).
Krisdayanti revealed that since the pandemic, only 300-400 people had been actively donating blood.
Meanwhile, the need for blood continues to increase. Patients of some diseases such as thalassemia and cancer must regularly do dialysis.
