Golkar Politician Harry Azhar Azis Dies at 65
jpnn.com, JAKARTA - Golkar Party politician Harry Azhar Azis died in South Jakarta on Saturday (18/12). He was 65.
This has been confirmed by Golkar deputy general chairman Bambang Soesatyo.
"It's true, he died," said Bambang, Saturday (18/12).
However, Bambang did not reveal the cause of Harry's death.
The former House Speaker also did not know about the schedule and location of Harry's funeral.
Harry served as chairman of the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) from 2014 to 2019.
He also served as deputy chairman of House Commission XI, in charge of finance, national development planning, banking, and non-bank financial institutions. (ast/mcr20/jpnn)
