Joe Biden to Reunite with Xi Jinping
jpnn.com, CHINA - Chinese President Xi Jinping will meet US President Joe Biden via video call Monday morning (November 16) Beijing time.
Xi will exchange views with Biden on the China-US partnership and issues of mutual concern, Chinese Foreign Ministry (MFA) spokeswoman Hua Chunying said in Beijing on Saturday (13/11).
At the beginning of this year, the two heads of state, the world's economic leaders, had two telephone conversations.
"The two countries agreed to establish intensive communication," said Wang Wenbin, another MFA spokesman.
The two countries also continue to communicate in reaching agreements.
"It is hoped that the United States can cooperate with China in the same direction and make real efforts so that the meeting between the heads of state can be successful, which will bring the China-US partnership back on the right track for stable development," Wang said.
