jpnn.com, NAPLES - Lorenzo Insigne's agent, Vincenzo Pisacane, has questioned Napoli's seriousness in extending his client's contract at the San Paolo Stadium.

Vincenzo thinks that Napoli need to move quickly because Insigne's contract will expire next season.

If Napoli do not immediately take care of the renewal of the contract, Insigne can leave Napoli on a free transfer.

Napoli, on the other hand, are only willing to increase Insigne's tenure if the player wants to reduce his salary by 50 percent.

That's what Vincenzo objected to. He considered that Napoli did not appreciate Insigne's services so far.

"My relationship with [Napoli president] De Laurentiis is good, but I do not agree with a 50 percent pay cut. I am an agent, and I have to defend Insigne at all times," said Vincenzo.

The agent thinks that Napoli are acting unfairly because usually Il Partenopei always raise players' salaries when extending new contracts.

"Usually, you [Laurentiis] offer more money when you want to extend the contract. Just look at the treatment for players who were extended before Insigne," said Vincenzo.

If Napoli don't move quickly, at least three big European clubs would target Insigne, namely Inter Milan, Chelsea and Barcelona. (footballitalia/mcr15/mcr20/jpnn)
