Jakarta to Have Crowd-Free Night on New Year's Eve

jpnn.com, JAKARTA - Jakarta will implement a crowd-free night policy on New Year's Eve to anticipate public gatherings.

Jakarta Police traffic director Senior Commissioner Sambodo Purnomo Yogo said the policy would be implemented in ten areas in Jakarta.

"For security on New Year's Eve, there will be a crowd-free night, with ten areas being closed," said Sambodo, Thursday (23/12).

The crowd-free night will start on December 31 at 10 p.m. until January 1 at 4 a.m.

Here are the ten areas that will be closed on New Year's Eve:

1. Sudirman-Thamrin area
