jpnn.com, BATAM - A clash occurred between Indonesian marines and Army raiders in Barelang, Batam, Riau Islands.
This followed a clash between members of the Army Special Forces (Kopassus) from the Nanggala Task Force and Mobile Brigade (Brimob) personnel from the Amole Task Force in Papua.

The Head of the Navy Information Service, First Admiral Julius Widjojono, confirmed the incident.
"Yes, there was an incident. It happened on November 27," Julius told JPNN, Monday (29/11).

Julius also ensured that this case had been resolved.
The resolution meeting was attended by several military executives in Batam.

As a result of the meeting, both parties decided to make peace and not pursue legal proceedings.
"It's over, they've made peace," added Julius.
