jpnn.com, JAKARTA - The 212 grand reunion, which is the annual agenda of the 212 Alumni Brotherhood (PA), is set to be held on December 2.

According to the 212 PA deputy secretary general, Novel Bamukmin, this year's 212 reunion will be held at the National Monument (Monas), Central Jakarta. The event committee is finalizing the preparations for the event, which is claimed to be attended by millions of people.

Novel confirmed that the reunion would not raise political agendas.

"Well, as far as I know, there will be no political agenda because 2024 is still far away," Novel told JPNN.com, Wednesday (24/11).

Instead, he mentioned, two big issues that would be brought up during the 212 reunion included that of former Islam Defenders Front (FPI) high priest Habib Rizieq.

"For now, we are focusing on the release of high priest Habib Rizieq and others," Novel said.

Another issue that would become their focus was the legal case of the FPI, he added.

"Also, the massacre of six FPI soldiers," said Novel.

This 212 reunion is held annually to commemorate the defense of Islam in 2016.
