jpnn.com, ACEH - The Aceh Police have officially detained the village head of Pulo Bunta, Aceh Besar district, who is suspected of corrupting village funds.
Aceh Police special criminal investigation unit director Senior Commissioner Sony Sanjaya said on Friday (12/11) that the perpetrator was identified with the initials AM.

AM has allegedly committed criminal acts of corruption and abuse of authority in financial management from 2015 to 2019.
"The person concerned is being detained for 20 days starting from November 11," said Sony.

Sony added that based on the results of an audit, the village had lost more than Rp 438 million due to AM's actions.
"Investigators continue to work to resolve this alleged corruption case," he continued.

Pulo Bunta is located at the tip of Sumatra Island. Administratively, it is part of the Peukan Bada district, Aceh Besar regency.
