Government to Select Seven OJK Commissioners: Sri Mulyani

jpnn.com, JAKARTA - Finance Minister Sri Mulyani said the government would appoint seven Financial Services Authority (OJK) commissioners for the 2022-2027 term next year.

"The registration starts on January 7, 2022. We are now announcing that anyone who wants to register can prepare," Sri said at a press conference in Jakarta, Friday ( 31/12).

Sri, who is the chairperson of the selection committee, stated that the registration would last for 12 office days, meaning it would close on January 25, 2022.

There are several stages of the selection, namely the paper assessment, the track record evaluation, the public input assessment, medical tests, and interviews.

"After the affirmation or interview process, the selection committee will appoint 21 prospective OJK commissioners to be submitted to the President," Sri said.

Then, the President will choose 14 candidates to be submitted to the House of Representatives (DPR) to undergo a fit and proper test.

"After the fit and proper test, President Jokowi will determine the seven OJK commissioners on July 20, 2022," Sri said. (antara/mcr20/jpnn)
