"The role of all women is needed in driving the local economy to realize the development of good human qualities, and it can be a driving force both in villages and urban areas," she said.
Chairperson of the Indonesian Cross-Professional Women's Association (PPLIPI), Indah Suryadharma Ali, explained that her association could be a forum for women to do something for those less fortunate in terms of their profession and educational background, and to contribute their thoughts, knowledge, experience, opportunities, and even materials.
Indah hoped that the PPLIPI could work together in accessing the programs of the Ministry of Manpower to be able to realize them by PPLIPI administrators at the regional and district levels. (mark/mcr20/jpnn)
