Meanwhile, the number of people who have received the complete two-stage vaccine has reached 78 million.

National Covid-19 spokesperson Reisa Broto Asmoro invited the public to get their vaccine as it had been proven to be safe and able to suppress the spread of Covid-19.
"There is no need to hesitate, actually. You can see the experience of the people who have been fully vaccinated. There are many people who have experienced it, and now they can provide immunity protection," Reisa said in a broadcast talk titled "Stay Alert When Covid-19 Slopes" in Jakarta, Monday (8/11).

Based on data from the Ministry of Health, as many as 1.1 million people have also received additional vaccinations or the third dose of vaccine to strengthen their immune system.
Reisa, who is also the Ambassador for Adaptation of New Habits, said that the government targeted vaccination coverage to reach 70 percent of the total population by the end of 2021.

According to her, this achievement will not be fulfilled if the community does not participate.
Reisa emphasized that all vaccines used in Indonesia had obtained an emergency use permit from the Indonesian Food and Drug Supervisory Agency (BPOM).
"All the vaccines have obtained by the UAE. Getting permission from the POM means guaranteed quality," said Reisa.
She emphasized that the best vaccine was the one currently available.
Reisa said that vaccines could provide protection against Covid-19 for the public by creating herd immunity. (antara/mcr20/jpnn)
