On the occasion, he stated that Indonesia still adhered to the "One China" principle.
Indonesia and China, Luhut continued, were determined to accelerate the realization of projects within the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) and actively encourage global development initiatives.

Meanwhile, Wang Yi said that under the leadership of Chinese President Xi Jinping and Indonesian President Joko Widodo, relations between the two countries had improved significantly.
The two sides, he continued, have succeeded in implementing high-level cooperation mechanisms related to politics, economy, society, and maritime affairs.
