jpnn.com, JAKARTA - Laura Anna's body has been cremated at the Heaven Pluit funeral home in Penjaringan, North Jakarta.
Greta Irene, Laura Anna's older sister, explained why the family decided to cremate the 21-year-old woman's body.

"Our family decides her body to be cremated so that her ashes can be brought home," Greta said, Thursday (16/12).
Greta said that Laura had always been very afraid of being alone and always needed someone's companionship.

The extended family thought that if she were to be buried immediately, Laura would feel alone.
"So, for a few days, she will go home first and someone can accompany her," said Greta.

Laura's ashes will be stored in her place until the family is ready to give it up.
"We will store her ashes for about 40 days, but the family is still thinking about it," Greta said.
Laura passed away on Wednesday (15/12) morning.
She first became the talk of the town after having a car accident with ex-lover Gaga Muhammad in December 2019.
As a result of the accident, Laura was diagnosed with a spinal cord injury and eventually paralyzed. (mcr18/mcr20/jpnn)
