jpnn.com, JAKARTA SELATAN - Many residents and even celebrities visited the resting place of Vanessa Angel and Febri "Bibi" Andriansyah to pray.

Recently, it was rumored that Vanessa's photo on display at the tomb was damaged by irresponsible people.

Heri admitted that he was annoyed by the hoax because it could be detrimental to him and his friends that guarded the tomb.

Heri said that he monitored the visitors every day.

"I'm annoyed by the information that says it's damaged. Even though the photos are faded because of the rain, they're not damaged by someone," said Heri, Wednesday (11/10).

The man, who has worked as a gravedigger for ten years, did not deny that many residents had placed flowers messily on the graves of Vanessa and Bibi.

Heri said that he often arranged the visitors who came to make sure they did not step on the tombs.

"We always take care of every visitor here. We'll monitor them so that the graves won't be trampled on," said Heri.

Heri was grateful to be a gravedigger at the Malaka Islamic Cemetery, despite that his income was just enough to provide for the needs of his family.

"Enough to support my wife and children," he said with a smile. (cr3/mcr20/jpnn)
