This was revealed from the preliminary results of a scene investigation conducted by the police.

"According to the preliminary results, the speed of the vehicle was above 100 kilometers per hour," said East Java Police traffic director Senior Commissioner Latif Usman, Friday (11/5).
In addition, the car driven by a driver named Tubagus Joddy was also suspected of showing no sign of being on the brakes to reduce the speed before it finally hit the road divider.

"Judging from the damage, there is no trace of braking," he said.
