jpnn.com, JAWA TIMUR - Indonesian celebrity Vanessa Angel and her husband, Febri Ardiansyah, died in a car accident on the Nganjuk toll road heading to Surabaya, East Java, Thursday (4/11) afternoon.
East Java Police traffic director Senior Commissioner Latif Usman said the celebrity couple rode a Mitsubishi Pajero Sport car driven by someone else.

"The driver was sleepy, and the car swerved to the left and hit the left-hand toll barrier," said Latif.
However, the middle-ranking officer could not provide further details regarding the unfortunate incident.

The police are still investigating the speed of the vehicle at the time of the accident.
"We have to investigate the crime scene and check how fast the car was," said Latif.

There were five people in the car, including the driver and the couple's child.
"The passengers died were Febri Ardiansyah and Vanessa Adzania," East Java Police spokesman Senior Commissioner Gatot Repli Handoko told JPNN.com, Thursday. (cr3/mcr20/jpnn)
