Arteria Dahlan Won't Reconcile with Anggiat Pasaribu
jpnn.com, JAKARTA - Arteria Dahlan has stated that it is impossible for him to reconcile with Anggiat Pasaribu, the woman who was involved in an argument with him and his mother at Soekarno-Hatta Airport, Tangerang, Banten.
Arteria said he could not make peace since his mother was the one being reported after the quarrel.
He admitted that he was concerned about the way the case was handled, saying that it should have been resolved quickly.
"If the wrong person is asked to apologize, that's called restorative justice. It should not be mixed who is right and who is wrong," Arteria told the media at the Parliament Complex, Wednesday (24/11).
He also mentioned that the airport police should first examine the two parties before getting them to make peace.
"In the context of restorative justice, the truth of everything should be sought first, then the damage is restored. It's not that two parties being told to make peace when there hasn't been anything," said Arteria.
Arteria's examination by the Soekarno-Hatta Airport Police was canceled, Wednesday (24/11).
Arteria revealed that he would first discuss with the House of Representatives' Honorary Council regarding the summons.
