JoMan Slams Politicians, Conglomerates on PCR Kit Procurement
jpnn.com, JAKARTA - Jokowi Mania (JoMan) chairman Imanuel Ebenezer has slamed politican elites and conglomerates regarding the procurement of PCR test kits.
He said he had read a report about how businessmen partnered with politicians to make money out of it.
"One and a half years ago, the price of PCR tests was high. It was even above 1.2 million at the beginning of the pandemic. Now everything has been revealed, there is a business partnership with politicians looking for money," said the activist, Tuesday (2/11).
According to him, the government officials and conglomerates involved should be severely punished.
He emphasized that the "masterminds" and "mafias" in the health business must stop their money-seeking actions.
"Moreover, the ministers involved must resign," said Imanuel.
This pro-democracy activist added that his data showed a number of ministers who were responsible for the procurement of PCR kits.
Tempo magazine itself, he said, revealed the involvement of politicians and businessmen in this business.
