Moeldoko Attends 2021 Papua Tech Festival
All of these activities are now included in a movement called startupdigital.id, and the 2021 Papua Tech Festival was the first event of the movement.
The 2021 Papua Tech Festival raised the theme of "Supporting the Nation's Digital Talent Management and Ecosystem".
The event was held on Thursday (28/10) at 10 a.m. East Indonesia time and was attended by hundreds of young Papuans online, with limited invitees who participated in person.
There were two core activities, namely the launch of the "Papuan Talent Management" page and the training on digital literacy, digital economy, and digital startups.
The coordinator of the PMI movement for the Mamta region, Moses Rawar, hoped that through the tech festival, a thousand new startups would be developed in Papua by 2025.
The Director of Regional Planning, Special Autonomy, and Regional Autonomy Advisory Council of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Valentinus Sudaryanto Sumito, also suppoted the event.
"The government is serious in helping Papuan human resources to be more knowledgeable, skilled, professional, independent, physically and mentally healthy, and competitive," he said. (gir/mcr20/jpnn)
