"Pirlo accepts (coaching Juventus, ed) because of ambition and makes mistakes that can cost him. He went to Juve where it was almost impossible to do well," Sachi was quoted as saying by Football Italia.
However, Juventus' progress in the Serie A competition was not so good after finishing fourth at the end of the 2020/21 season.

Sacchi believed Pirlo's decision to handle Juve could have a negative impact on his future coaching career.
It can be seen that until now, the former AC Milan player has not had a job since being sacked by the Bianconeri.
"Pirlo accepted [coaching Juventus] because of ambition and made a mistake that could cost him. He went to Juve where it was almost impossible to do well," Sachi said, as quoted by Football Italia.
Pirlo has been linked with coaching Barcelona and Genoa this season.
However, the Catalan club have appointed Xavi Hernandez as Ronald Koeman's successor.
Meanwhile, Geno has chosen Andriy Shevchenko to replace Davide Ballardini.
In Sachi's eyes, Pirlo is still unemployed until now because of a year at Juventus that was not so bright. (footballitalia/mcr15/mcr20/jpnn)
