Grocery Shop in Lampung Sells Drug in Sachets

jpnn.com, LAMPUNG - The Tulang Bawang Police narcotics unit raided a grocery shop in Central Tulang Bawang district, Lampung, which reportedly sold crystal meth in sachets.

The police arrested a man, identified with the initials ZO (39), and secured a number of evidences.

According to West Tulang Bawang Police chief Senior Adjutant Commissioner Sunhot P. Silalahi, the raid was carried out on Monday (25/10) at around noon.

The case came to light thanks to reports from surrounding community members who became suspicious as the grocery shop was always crowded by consumers who were not local residents.

One of ZO's tricks, the police chief said, was through sticking small packages containing meth in his wares of shampoo sachets.

The police seized one small plastic bag containing 3.30 grams of meth.

"The perpetrator was subject to Article 112 and 114 [of the Narcotics Law] with a threat of 15 years in prison," said Sunhot. (fei/wdi/mcr20/radarlampung)
