jpnn.com, DUBAI - The Manpower Ministry has brought up four domestic employment issues at Expo 2020 hosted by Dubai, the United Arab Emirates.
The four issues are visionary employment programs and policies, the roles and functions of the government and the private sector, an investment-friendly employment climate, and the respect for equality, human rights, and an inclusive working environment.

The ministry said it was ready to collaborate with both public and private sectors at home and abroad for the advancement of Indonesian employment and post-pandemic revival.
"Indonesia is committed to increasing employment readiness to support the realization of a friendly investment climate," Manpower Ministry's domestic worker placement director, Nora Kartika, said on Sunday (26/12).

The Manpower Ministry has aligned its roles with more than 23 other ministry elements and institutions, as well as 13 local government representatives, for this vision.
During the 12th week of Expo 2020, the ministry also presented Indonesia's bureaucratic reform and introduced the country's resource potentials through business forums, business meetings, and exhibitions of MSME products. The ministry also managed to use the expo as place for cultural diplomacy.
