A number of musicians and public figures gave encouragement to Ari through Instagram.

"Keep the spirit high, Mas Ari," wrote comedian Raditya Dika, Tuesday (16/11).

Ari is struggling to recover from lymphoma cancer. He has undergone several treatments and chemotherapy in the hospital.
"Dare to post. It's been the third (chemotherapy), half way through, of course with God's blessings and prayers and support from all of you," said Ari.
The former vocalist of the Dewa 19 band admitted that he had to shave his hair. He also posted a photo of him at a hospital.
"Yes, I'm already bald like Ahmad Dhani, Deddy Corbuzier, and Anji, but I'm sure I can still grow it long again," said the "Hampa" singer. (ded/mcr20/jpnn)
