jpnn.com, UBUD - The 2021 Ubud Village Jazz Festival (UVJF), the 8th year of this annual event, will be the first jazz festival in Bali to be held offline since the Covid-19 pandemic started.
After previously being delayed due to social restrictions, the UVJF is ready to greet jazz fans on October 29 and October 30, 2021, at the Arma Lukisan Museum, Ubud, Gianyar.

This annual music festival in Ubud is expected to be one of the drivers of the revival of the economy in Bali.
"In Ubud, we can see now empty hotels. Hopefully, with the jazz festival, it can give fresh [hope] to the people," said UVJF co-founder AA Anom Wijaya Darsana on Thursday (21/10).

This year, the UVJF will be conducted hybridly, meaning that people can enjoy it online via live streaming as well.
Jazz enthusiasts who want to enjoy a live spectacle at the Arma Lukisan Museum, Ubud, will spend Rp 350,000 (US$24.7) per ticket.

"Because we are still in social restrictions and we must comply with health protocols, we limit the number of seats for offline viewers to 300-500," said Yuri Mahatma, another co-founder of the UJVF.
To enjoy UVJF performances via live streaming, the organizers set a ticket price of Rp 160,000 for one day and Rp 200,000 for two days. (gie/mcr20/jpnn)
