jpnn.com, BALI - Heather Lois Mack (25), the former convict of the murder of her own biological mother, was finally deported to the United States, Tuesday (2/11) night.
This 10-year convict was deported after completing her sentence at the Women's Correctional Institution (LPP) in Kerobokan, Badung, Bali.

Mack was deported along with her 6-year-old child.
During the deportation process, officers from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) - the main investigation agency of the United States Department of Justice - followed closely along the way.

In fact, the Immigration and Aviation Security of I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport facilitated a special route when Mack and the FBI entered the airport.
"Arriving at Soekarno-Hatta Airport, Mack continued with an international flight using Delta Airlines DL7932. The plane departs from Soekarno-Hatta Airport at 21.50 for Incheon, South Korea, then Chicago, the United States," said Head of the Bali Law and Human Rights Regional Office, Jamaruli Manihuruk, Wednesday (3/11).

According to Jamaruli, the deportation was taken because Mack was proven to have violated Article 75 of Indonesian Law Number 6/2011 concerning Immigration and Article 340 of the Criminal Code on murder.
Mack and her child were proposed to be put on the deterrence list to the Directorate General of Immigration at the Ministry of Law and Human Rights.
"Mack was proposed to be put on a lifelong detention list. Meanwhile, her child was proposed to be put on a six-month detention list," he said.
Mack was previously found guilty of helping her boyfriend kill her biological mother, Sheila von Wiese-Mack, on August 12, 2014. The court sentenced Mack to 10 years in prison.
Her lover named Tommy Schaefer committed the murder when they were on vacation in Bali. The incident occurred at the St. Regis Hotel, Nusa Dua, Badung, Bali.
The incident was motivated by Schaefer's disappointment with the victim who did not approve of their love affair.
Mack was 18 at the time, and she was pregnant.
The victim's body was put in a large suitcase, before being carried to the trunk of a taxi they had ordered before the murder. The two perpetrators fled through the back door of the hotel towards the beach. The taxi driver and the hotel clerk found the suitcase covered in blood and took it to the police station.
