Trade Unions Ask Minimum Wage Change Amid MK's New Decision

The slight increase was due to changes in the wage calculation formula since the issuance of the Job Creation Law and its derivative regulation regarding wages, namely Government Regulation Number 36/2021.
Iqbal emphasized that the government should make a 4-5 percent increase from the current figure instead.

The KSPI has urged the Jakarta administration to revise the increase in the provincial minimum wage (UMP) for Jakarta in 2022.
