Baim replaces Robbyanto Budiman, who now serves as the club chairman.

In an event held at the JS Luwansa Hotel, Thursday (23/12) evening, Baim was officially introduced as the new president of the club, which has won the Indonesian Basketball League 11 times.
In his remarks, the actor said he wanted to bring a new segment of fans into the world of basketball.

"I have a vision to make basketball more known to the public. I think I'm one step closer to making that happen," said Baim.
Basketball is not new to the Paula Verhoeven's husband.

Last year, NBA Asia entrusted Baim as their representative to attend the 2020 NBA All-Star Weekend Event in Chicago, United States.
The presence of Baim in Satria Muda Pertamina adds him to the list of actors and public figures who have entered the world of Indonesian basketball.
