jpnn.com, SINGAPORE - It's just a matter of days for the Indonesian national soccer team to perform in the 2020 AFF Cup.
The Garuda squad is in Group B along with Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam, and Malaysia.

Cambodia will be Indonesia's first stumbling block in the competition between Southeast Asian countries.
The two countries will clash on Thursday (09/12) at Bishan Stadium, Bishan, Singapore.

One of the Indonesian players who can't wait to show off at the 2020 AFF Cup is the Persipura wonderkid, Ramai Rumakiek.
This 19-year-old young man is a new name in the senior Garuda squad.

However, in terms of performance, Rumakiek appeared classy in his debut match by scoring a goal against Taiwan in the 2023 Asian Cup Qualification, last October.
Now, he is determined to write gold ink with the Garuda squad in the 2020 AFF Cup.
"Surely, our target is to win [against Cambodia]. We have individuals who are high skilled, compact, and strong-willed to win," said Rumakiek in a PSSI release.
Rumakiek also that all Indonesian national team players were full of optimism.
"We are grateful that until now, we are still in good condition. We practice and enjoy what coach Shin Tae Yong has given us in training," he added.
Syahrian Abhimanyu also carried high optimism. The Johor Darul Takzim midfielder said the Indonesian team players were in a state of readiness for combat.
"We are still preparing the best following the coach's directions. For personal targets, of course we want to bring Indonesia to the final and win," he said.
Indonesia appeared in the 2020 AFF Cup with positive capital. Shin Tae Yong's squad picked up two wins and only lost once while undergoing training camp in Turkey. (mcr15/mcr20/jpnn)
