"The occupants did not heed the warning letter from PT KAI, and instead they jointly filed a lawsuit against PT KAI through the Bandung District Court in August 2015," he said.
However, the Bandung District Court issued another decision, obliging anyone who occupied the land to vacate. In response, the residents filed an appeal.
"Then, a decision was issued rejecting their appeal. PT KAI submitted a request for security against the decision that has permanent legal force," he added.
"As a form of KAI's seriousness in safeguarding state assets, KAI will continue to make efforts to organize the assets that it manages and at the same time optimize the assets," said Kuswardoyo. (mcr27/mcr20/jpnn)
