"The driver lacked concentration while driving, so he lost control," said Jakarta Police traffic head Commissioner Eko Setio Budi in Jakarta, Friday.

He said there were no casualties or people injured due to the accident.
As the driver, identified with the initials DS, lost focus, the bus went off track and hit the concrete lane barrier.

The TransJakarta bus licensed under PT Mayasari Bhakti runs from south to north on Jalan Jenderal Sudirman.
As a result of the incident, the lower front body of the vehicle was damaged.

The driver was not subject to criminal offenses because there were no fatalities.
This was the second crash involving a TransJakarta bus this week. On Thursday (2/12) afternoon, a TransJakarta bus also had an accident at the Cililitan intersection, East Jakarta. The bus crashed into a police post, injuring a bus officer. (antara/mcr20/jpnn)
