Indonesia Masters: Greysia, Apriyani Beat Spanish Pair in 36 Minutes

jpnn.com, BALI - Indonesian women's doubles badminton players Greysia Polii and Apriyani Rahayu have advanced to the quarter-finals of the 2021 Indonesia Masters after defeating Spanish representatives Clara Azurmendi and Beatriz Corrales.

Competing at the Bali International Convention Center, Greysia and Apriyani won two straight games with a score of 21-17 and 21-9 in just 36 minutes.

In the first game, Greysia and Apriyani, who were the second seed, quickly won 4-2 over Clara and Beatriz.

However, Greysia and Apriyani had to fall behind 10-11 in the first interval.

After the break, both pairs were involved in a tight game until the score was 13-13.
