Of five Indonesian pairs who competed that day, three qualified for the top 16, while the remaining two had to pack their suitcases.

The three pairs who qualified were Mohammad Ahsan and Hendra Setiawan (men's doubles), Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti and Ribka Sugiarto (women's doubles), and Praveen Jordan and Melati Daeva Oktavianti (mixed doubles).
The two pairs eliminated were Leo Rolly Carnando and Daniel Marthin (men's doubles) and Rinov Rivaldy and Pitha Haningtyas Mentari (mixed doubles).

Rinov and Pitha became the first Indonesian representatives to compete against Yuta Watanabe and Arisa Higashino from Japan. Unfortunately, they lost two straight games 12-21 and 16-21 to the 2021 Denmark Open champion.
In the top 16, Watanabe and Higashino will face Malaysia's Hoo Pang Ron and Cheah Yee See.

Indonesia finally secured a win on Wednesday (27/10) through the women's doubles, Siti and Ribka, who defeated Republic of Ireland representatives Kate Frost and Moya Ryan, with a score of 21-11 and 21-13.
Siti and Ribka will face Pearly Tan and Thinaah Muralitharan from Malaysia in the top 16.
Siti and Ribka's victory was followed by Indonesian mixed doubles mainstays Praveen and Melati, who defeated the Malaysian duo Chen Tiang Jie and Peck Yen Wei with a score of 22-20 and 21-19.
Praveen and Melati will face Indian pair Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Ashwini Ponnappa in the top 16.
Unfortunately in the fourth match, Indonesian men's doubles Leo and Daniel lost to Lu Ching Yao and Yang Po Han from Taiwan with a score of 22-24 and 17-21.
The match for Indonesia was closed by the duel of Mohammad Ahsan and Hendra Setiawan against Keiichiro Matsui and Yoshinori Takeuchi from Japan.
The Daddies managed to secure a ticket to the last 16 after winning 21-19 and 23-21 over Keiichiro and Yoshinori.
In total, Indonesia has eight pairs or single players qualified for the top 16. Besides those mentioned, the other pairs or singles going to the next round are Marcus Fernaldi Gideon and Kevin Sanjaya Sukamuljo (men's doubles), Fajar Alfian and Muhammad Rian Ardianto (men's doubles), Nita Violina Marwah and Putri Syaikah (women's doubles), Shesar Hiren Rhustavito (men's singles), and Gregoria Mariska Tunjung (women's singles).
