Residents Aged 12, Over May Enter Theaters in Medan

jpnn.com, MEDAN - Medan Mayor Bobby Nasution is set to issue a circular regarding the extension of the community activity restrictions (PPKM) level 2.

The circular letter is a follow-up to the instructions of the Minister of Home Affairs and the Governor.

"The instructions of the Minister of Home Affairs and the Governor have been issued, but we will issue the mayor's circular this afternoon," Bobby said after a plenary meeting at the Medan Legislative Council, Wednesday (10/11).

However, the son-in-law of President Joko Widodo said there would be a difference in PPKM level 2, which would take place until November 22.

In the extension, residents as young as 12 years old were allowed to enter the cinema.

"There is a slight difference in terms of the cinema. Now, people aged 12 years old and over [can come], but [children] must be accompanied by their parents and still have to follow health protocols," said Bobby.

PPKM outside Java and Bali has been extended from November 9 to November 22.
