Head of Start Up Singo Edan Malang (Stasion), M. Ziaelfikar Albaba, said that game products developed by startups in Malang had attracted foreign publishers.

"The gaming [industry] in Malang continues to grow. Some of the games made by these startups have been released in the United States," said Ziaelfikar on Monday (1/11).
He admitted that the overall development of digital creative economy players in Malang was quite good.

"In 2020 until now, the quality has been getting better, although the numbers are still not significant enough because of Covid-19," he said.
It was recorded that there were as many as 120 startup companies and developing products in 2020.

That number will increase slightly in 2021 to 168 startups.
The potential for startups in Malang is promising.
"Many indicators show that the quality of startups is increasing. This can be seen from assets, number of teams, projects, developer lockers, and others," said Ziaelfikar.
Malang Mayor Sutiaji said that he really appreciated the works of the young people of Malang city, especially in developing startups.
