One Killed as Police Student Bus Crushes With Truck in Jambi

jpnn.com, JAMBI - A bus carrying students of the Jambi State Police School (SPN) has collided with a timber truck in Jambi. One student died on the spot.

Jambi Police spokesman Senior Commissioner Mulia Prianto said the bus collided with a truck loaded with rubber wood at Simpang IV Pall X Kota Baru on Jalan Marsda Surya Dharma at around 7 a.m., Tuesday (7/12).

The incident occurred after the truck was loaded and headed from Sarolangun to CV Rajawali, East Jambi district, Jambi, coming from the direction of Simpang Rimbo. Upon its arrival at Simpang IV Pall X, it collided with the student bus.

"Yes, it is true that there was an accident. One person died and some others were injured," said Mulia in Jambi, Tuesday.
