Explosion Heard Around House of Veronica Koman's Parents

jpnn.com, JAKARTA - West Jakarta Police criminal investigation unit head Commissioner Joko Dwi Harsono said that the police were still investigating the sound of an alleged explosion that was heard around the residence of the parents of Papuan rights activist Veronica Koman.

Joko Dwi said he could not yet confirm the source of the sound.

"It's true, we have conducted a crime scene analysis and have coordinated with the forensic lab to find out what exploded," he said when confirmed in Jakarta, Sunday (7/11).

Based on information obtained, the sound was heard on Jalan U Jelambar Baru, West Jakarta, on Sunday at around 10.45 a.m.

Joko confirmed the sound of the suspected explosion occurred near the residence of Veronica's parents.
